PDPA Membership
By joining the PDPA, you are supporting dermatology PAs in the state of Pennsylvania to help advance their careers. PDPA Membership includes a variety of individuals ranging from dermatology and non-dermatology PAs and NPs, students, and industry sponsors. Membership in the PDPA is FREE for those who are eligible for any of the following categories:
As a member, you may take advantage of several resources including:
- FELLOW- A fellow member is a certified physician assistant who works full or part time in collaboration with a board certified or board eligible dermatologist. Fellow members may vote for PDPA officers and directors, introduce and vote on PDPA business, and shall be eligible to hold office.
- ASSOCIATE- An associate member is a certified physician assistant who is not currently working in dermatology, but has a strong interest in the specialty of dermatology. Associate members shall have the privilege of the floor to address the PDPA Board of Directors, but shall not be entitled to vote or hold office.
- AFFILIATE-An affiliate member is a certified nurse practitioner who works full or part time in collaboration with a board certified or board eligible dermatologist. Affiliate members are not entitled to the privilege of the floor, vote, or hold office.
- STUDENT-A student member is person enrolled in a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) or Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs (CAAHEP) or successor agency approved physician assistant program, or an unapproved program recognized by the AAPA. Student members shall not be eligible to vote or hold office in the PDPA.
- PHYSICIAN-A physician member is a board certified/board eligible dermatologist who currently supervises or is interested in supervising a Fellow or Affiliate member of the PDPA. Physician members shall be entitled to the privileges of the floor to address the PDPA Board of Directors, but shall not be entitled to vote or hold office.

- Email blasts on local free Category I CME events
- Networking with other dermatology PA’s through social media and our website
- Access to educational resources, Salary Report and Journal Club meetings.
- Ability to list new job postings as well as access to open positions in your local market
